Here's how I made them~
Step 1: Cut (2) pieces of Cardstock: 3” x 11”
Step 2: Score each piece at: 7/8”, 4”, 7” & 10 1/8”
Step 3: Fold all score lines with bone folder and adhere the 2 pieces of cardstock together where they overlap at the base of the flower pot. (see photo)
Step 2: Score each piece at: 7/8”, 4”, 7” & 10 1/8”
Step 3: Fold all score lines with bone folder and adhere the 2 pieces of cardstock together where they overlap at the base of the flower pot. (see photo)
Step 4: Decorate the cardstock by either Stamping images onto the cardstock or adhering designer paper to the cardstock. If you're using DP, cut (4) 3 1/8" squares and (4) strips 2 7/8 x 3/4".
Step 5: Punch a hole on both ends of each flap (I used my Cropadile and set the depth gage to help keep the holes evenly placed)
Step 6: Use 4 pieces of ribbon (about 6" each) to tie the ends of the flower pot together.
Step 7: (Optional...for plant stake) I stamped my image & punched out a 1 1/4" circle, layered it up with 1 3/8" & Scallop circle, added a rhinestone brad. I taped a Wilton Lollipop stick behind the scallop image piece (I got my lollipop sticks at Walmart in the cake decorating/craft department), then layered up some dimensionals behind the scallop and added another scallop circle on the back. I tied a knot in a ribbon and added a glue dot to place it just below the scallop.
Wha-laa...you've got a cute little flower pot!
