Happy Heart Case

This card is my case of this week's featured SCS Stamper....the wonderful Nancy Riley! She used really bright vivid colors in her card, so I challenged myself to try something brighter and more contrasting than what I'd normally reach for. It's so fun to try something new. Nancy used Beate's weekend sketch challenge for her layout...you can check that out HERE. The little orange elephant and flowers are pretty and shimmery irl, but on this rainy day in Oregon, very hard to get a photo that shows those details. I keep looking out the window for Noah and his ark...with all this rain, I'm sure he must be around here somewhere = ) ! Not much time to post today, but I have several projects in the works and can't wait to show you those...including a very special project and new challenge on Thursday and quick technique tutorial later this week...so stay tuned!

I am still waiting for my shipment of new stamps and supplies from the new SU Spring Summer collection, but in the meanwhile, I'm loving this Happy Heart Day set.... so many pieces and so many ways to use them. It's my favorite (for now anyway!).
