Brilliant : )

The first time I saw this brand new, soon to be released Sock Monkey set & the new Bella Rose DP from SU, I knew I wanted to combine the two and do a little paper piecing! This was a super fun card to make. Plus, I got to use more of the new in-colors, Riding Hood Red & Pirouette Pink. I've been using the new '08-'09 in-colors all week...I can't seem to put 'em away. The inspiration for this card started with a great little sketch from the Great Swapper Girl blog...be sure to surf on over and check it out!

Speaking of inspiration, I need to catch up on awards. I was honored to receive this award last week from both Patti & Emma! Thanks girls, you both put a HUGE smile on my face & totally made my day!!!
And...right back at ya girls...I think YOU two are the brilliant ones! Wonderful blogs filled with brilliant creativity and inspiration ~
Patti ~
Pure Inkspirations
Emma ~

Pauline ~ Jotting, Blottings on Paper etc

Kelley ~ The Stamping Studio

Lori ~ Stamp Scents

Valita ~ Valita's Designs & Fresh Folds

I could keep going and the list would be a mile long if I listed everyone who inspires me...but this is the group I'd like to honor for today : ) !!! Way to go girls, that's for being simply BRILLIANT!!!

Here's a Sock Monkey card my daughter Megan made! She used every one of the new in-colors on her card ~ Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss & Pacific Point, along with the new Bella Rose DP!! Okay Meg, I nominate you for being just plain Brilliant for managing to incoproate all 6 in-colors into this totally fun card ...you totally rock girl : ) !

I'm very sorry, but I've run out of time and space to list all the supplies for today's projects. I've got to dash, but if you have any questions on today's cards, just email me (youcanstamp@hotmail.com) and I'd be happy to share!! Thanks so much for stopping by, wishing you a BRILLIANT Day!!!

okay.. I didn't think it was possible, but you have made me a sock monkey believer. Somewhere between coming over for a club one night and becoming an instant demo you have become an unbelievable stamper. How blessed am I to be able to hang with you every now and then. Thanks for the award I 'll get to it early next week. Busy weekend! Tom plays the kaffe tonight then off to a big weekend bday bash. Love you!

Nancy, thank you so much for the award. Believe me, it came as a complete surprise. I am learning a lot since visiting so many wonderful blogs, especially colouring. Do I have to do anything after being awarded? I don't know. All I know is to enjoy making my cards.
? Your sock monkey cards are such fun :o) The colours used on the second card are so cheery.
God bless you and yours.
Hugs.
Pauline
