I made this card last week, but wanted to wait to post it ....just to be sure the receipient didn't see it before she received it! My friend Sandi, asked me to make this for a co-worker, Crystal, who was leaving their office. Crystal's co-workers wanted to give her a Stampin' Up Gift Certificate (what a GREAT gift!!)...and asked me to make a card to go with it. I didn't photograph the inside of the card, but it's 5 1/4 square, so there was plenty of room to place the coordinated gift certificate on the inside cover and the girls still had plenty of room to write their greetings on the other side. I love giving and receiving SU gift certificates! It's a great idea for the upcoming holiday season. No trips to the mall, one size fits all and it's a gift anyone will love = ) !!!The design for this card was inspired by this card of Nancy Riley's that I cased a couple weeks ago...she is just such an inspiration to me = ) ... thanks Nancy!
Supplies for this card:
Stamps: Short & Sweet (sentiment), In the Spotlight (flower), Priceless (swirl)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky cardstock & dp, Whisper White, non-SU metallic silver
Ink: Timber Brown Stazon & Soft Sky
Accessories: 5-petal flower punch, blue rhinestone brads, paper piercing tool, double stitched soft sky ribbon, silver cord
= ) Happy Tuesday !!!

Nancy, I simply provided a starting point ... YOU took it over the top ... TWICE!!!! This card is incredible! You have no idea what an inspiration you are to me! So much so, that I think I'll be casing two of your cards for my upcoming class!!!!
OMG Nancy, your card is absolutely gorgeous and elegant. I love the design, colors, format and what a thrill to have SU certificate surprise inside :-) TFS
What a wonderful gift and a totally beautiful card! Inspiring work, Nancy!!
I love this, very smart & great colour play too. Which flower from which set did you use with the punch? TFS :) Happy Day.
Beeeeutiful card! I saw this one on Splitcoast and wanted to gush there, but the site was being finiky and it wouldn't let me...so now- DARLING, FANTASTIC, SPARKLEY, and CHIC! I like it. Ricky and Bobby did a flip over this one and then landed with their paws in a victory stance! It was crazy ;)!
