Fresh Cuts

Stampin Up is offering a Sneak Peek and a special offer on this new Fresh Cuts stamp set and the coordinating 4" notecards from the upcoming Fall/Winter Catalog! Click HERE for all the details on that special offer! I took advantage of the special and sent for both : ) !! The stamp set is die-cut, which is awesome. The note cards are perfect for quick, simple cards. Today's cards show a few different ideas...all pretty simple. I really like how SU coordinates their products...the 5-Petal Flower punch fits in behind the cut-out flower in the note card perfectly, as you can see in this next card (the night of navy flower is from the 5-petal flower punch). I placed a 4 1/4" square of textured Real Red cardstock behind the notecard to add a little color ~And the flower stamp can be punched out with the retired SU Spring Flower Bouqet punch, as you can see in the center (red) flower on the following card....so for those of you who have that retired punch... a little bonus! The petals in the note cards pop out, and you can leave them out like I did in the first 2 cards, or stamp them, then add them back in, like I did in this next card. I added a layer of Real Red card stock to the inside of the card, then used Dimensionals to re-place the petals back on the card front. I used my Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack & an SU Real Red Marker to create some Faux stitching along the edge.

I rememberd I had some SU Fresh Favorites Buttons & used them on 2 of these cards : ) ... I get so used to using my brads that sometimes I forget I have those cute little buttons. I've moved them to the front of my accessory drawer so I'll remember to use them more often. Also, I did use my Stamp-a-majig for placement of the sentiment on all 3 cards. Great tool, gets that image right where I want it every time!

That's it for today... have a good one : ) , thanks for stopping by!!
